Processing of XML Descriptions of OTP
Web application utilizing multi-factor authentication
Humpolík, Jan ; Hajný, Jan (referee) ; Doležel, Radek (advisor)
In the thesis are described and implemented 5 methods (some with their own proposal) of multifactor authentication in web application environment. The results of the work is the web application and individual authentication methods (which are attached separately) for use in your own web application.
Bezpečnost OTP zasílaného formou SMS, autentizačního a autorizačního nástroje a nebezpečí zneužití služeb elektronického bankovnictví ovládnutím počítače a chytrého telefonu klienta
HOLUB, Petr
This bachelor thesis deals with the safety authentication and authorization tool OTP which is sent by SMS when confirm payment orders make through internet banking services. The work deals with the methodology of attack using malicious code to gain access to a bank account client fallen and safety assessment tool currently used by OTP as a method for two-factor authentication.
OTP implementation in a selected information system
Jajtner, Petr ; Havránek, Martin (advisor)
At present, it is necessary to protect sensitive data against abuse, but also allow au-thorized persons to change these data. To increase the security of logging for authorized persons we often introduce a two-factors authentication, where the first step is verification of the user's identity and in a second step is required to insert a one-time password called OTP. This thesis deals with implementation of OTP and integration into the selected sys-tem. It also includes test and verification of the functionality of the selected solution.
authentication for information system
Jenčík, Štěpán ; Havránek, Martin (advisor) ; Ladislav, Ladislav (referee)
This thesis is focused on authentication methods, for regular private users and company solutions. Based on the analysis of individual authentication methods discussed in a theoretical part, the most suitable solutions are chosen. The practical part then offers various solutions divided into categories based on the users profiles. This presented overview suggests possible follow up discussion topics and an outline of the future development in the area of authentication methods and tools.
Use of one-time passwords OTP
Maroušek, Petr ; Havránek, Martin (advisor) ; Benda, Petr (referee)
This bachelor thesis discusses the use of one time passwords. Thesis is initially focused on the ways of the authentication and then on the use of one time passwords. One-time passwords are those passwords which are valid for only one authentication or transaction. After that they lose their validity. One-time passwords no longer exist after their use, so they are resistant to repeated attacks. Furthermore, the comparation of security between ordinary passwords and one-time passwords is discussed. Further, there is shown a comparison of different types of one-time passwords. There is a description of their creation and distribution to users. The practical part describes the implementation of open-source solution of OTP. Implementation is carried out using a plug-in to a website created in WordPress content management system. In the first part of the practical part, the selection of the plugin by selected criteria is described. In the second part of the practical part, the implementation of plugin is realized.
One-time passwords
Odvárko, Daniel ; Havránek, Martin (advisor) ; Benda, Petr (referee)
This project deals with one-time passwords and their practical usage. One-time passwords are, as their name implies, passwords, which can be used only one time, so, when someone takes over our password, it's already invalid. Theoretical part of this project focuses on both common passwords, security methods and vulnerability to attackers, and OTP, their individual kinds and types of delivery. Practical part consists of creation of practical demo based on acquired knowledge - web application with authentication based on OTP.

One Time Passwords
Škarda, Filip ; Pavlíček, Luboš (advisor) ; Palovský, Radomír (referee)
This Bachelor thesis describes the one-time passwords and their various implementation possibilities. The one-time passwords are passwords, which are valid only for one login or transaction. In contrast to regular passwords, one-time passwords are immune against reply attacks, which means that if a possible attacker eavedroppes the used password, he cannot exploit it, because it is not valid anymore. The theoretical section of the thesis explains the reasons for using one-time passwords and demonstrates some particular OTP systems. The practical section shows two different examples of using open-source OTP systems. The first one describes the use of OTPasswd for authentication to a server over SSH, the other one uses MultiOTP PHP class for authentication to a web application.
